Bunn is the brand found in many coffee shops, thus this brewer brings that café taste right into your home. Keep in mind that this coffeepot does keep the water hot all of the time, and you may need to adjust your measurements for brewing. The coffee will taste more natural and complex, as the Bunn NBH Professional Home Brewer does not over-extract the coffee; however, if you prefer strong coffee, you will need to compensate by adding more coffee per pot than with other machines. The quick extraction means less caffeine per cup, which is great for someone who does not want to be jittery the whole day, but can be a downside if you need coffee to get going in the morning. You will need Bunn filter papers for the machine for best results. The main downside with consumers is that this pot works best for one pot a day, instead of multiple pots, and that the machine can be a potential fire hazard since it remains plugged in all day.
