The carafe stays cool to the touch even when full, and it does not have a breakable glass liner.  The easy to read water-level display goes up to 10 cups or six 8 oz. cups, more than many other brands.  The Zojirushi will keep your pot warmed, so you can always enjoy a steaming cup, even an hour after brewing.

However, there are several concerns users have.  The coffee maker is tall, and a lid on top has to be lifted in order to add coffee and water.  This can be a downside in smaller kitchens with shallow counters.  The #3 filters that the machine uses can also be hard to find at some retailers.  Some users have also reported problems with the auto shut-off switch turning off in mid-cycle. The manufacturer has not confirmed this “glitch.”

Overall, this is a great machine that keeps your coffee piping hot, even after an hour after brewing.  If you are looking for fantastic temperature control and high-quality construction, this is a great coffee maker.
